Design Research: Domestic Food Waste
A third of all food produced in the world is wasted!
Food that is wasted at the end of the supply chain also wastes all the energy put into its production, processing, transportation, cooling and preparation. This project is an ongoing research project that looks at ways design can change behaviours to reduce the impact of food being wasted in our homes. Below is a series of ideations designed for different demographics and different situations which all aim to shift consumer behaviour into more conscious consumption.
