What I offer

Systems Transformation Strategy and Leadership

I help people and teams make sense of complex challenges and find ways to shift the systems they operate within. Using tools like Donella Meadows’ leverage points and regenerative principles I develop strategies that explore how and where change can be initiated, so that small changes can lead to bigger ripple effects. I focus on connecting ideas and ways of seeing the world to genuine purpose, and finding steps towards more human and planet centered futures.

Systems Mapping & Visual Sensemaking

By creating system maps, I make the complexity of the systems around us visible. I use system mapping processes such as Systems Practice to create causal loop diagrams, as well as frameworks such as Multi-level Perspective, 3 Horizons model and the Berkana two loop model, in order to find ways to understand the interconnected dynamics of systems, in order to find ways to collectively move towards healthier futures.

Applied Systems Research

I conduct qualitative research through interviews, surveys, stakeholder conversations, and field observations to uncover insights that feed into system mapping and strategic sense-making. I focus on making the research process feel human — building trust, asking meaningful questions, and creating space for people to share what really matters. I translate these insights into system change strategies that clients can implement directly, or use them to inform the design of capacity-building interventions.

Learning Design and Capacity Building

I conceptualise, develop and facilitate capacity building and learning programmes for business leaders, professionals and young entrepreneurs. I see learning and education as a powerful tool to create long lasting change in the world, and therefore I utilise my design background to create meaningful, holistic learning programmes focused on building systems literacy and mindset shifts. To find out more, Here’s a short overview showcasing the type of work I do in this area, alongside my colleague Kurt Klusch.

Designing and Facilitating Experiences

I design workshops and experiences that help people not just understand systems, but feel them — through sensory engagement, participation, conversation and reflection. This can be through an immersive meal, a participatory workshop or an online meet up, I aim to create spaces that are grounded, playful, and emotionally resonant. My approach is rooted in empathy, the Art of Hosting, and a belief that real engagement happens when the heart, head, and hands are all involved. I see experiential interventions as a tool to support people in seeing the world through different lenses.

System Change Design: A Process

I combine both design and systems thinking in a process of I call system change design. Design is the process of bringing something new into the world that solves problems intelligently, and systems thinking is a way of making sense of the interrelated, connected parts that form the dynamic systems by which the world is structured, both human created systems, or nature’s systems. Design and systems thinking are mindsets with which I view the world and my agency with which I can create change within it. I see them as inexplicably linked. In fact, design and systems have never been separated in my work since studying Product Design at the Royal College of Art between 2015-18.
